Complete control system upgrade kits are designed for inkjet printers whose original control platform cannot support the intended printhead, is damaged or obsolete, or no longer has compatible replacement components available.

Solutions may include conversion to supported XP600, Epson I1600, Epson I3200, or other compatible printhead platforms. Depending on the printer, the kit may include control boards, head boards, carriage boards, software, firmware, cables, adapters, and other necessary components.

Each printer must be assessed individually before the final upgrade configuration is confirmed.

Complete control system upgrade kits are designed for inkjet printers whose original control platform cannot be retained because it is incompatible with the intended printhead, damaged, obsolete, discontinued, or no longer supported by available replacement boards, software, firmware, or technical resources.

The term “upgrade” in this category includes performance-oriented upgrades, cost-oriented conversions, and restoration retrofits. Typical projects may involve printers currently using XP600, DX5, DX7, TX800, 4720, 5113, or other printhead platforms.

Depending on the objective of the retrofit, the target configuration may include a supported XP600-based platform, Epson I1600, Epson I3200, or another compatible printhead platform. Epson I1600 and I3200 variants such as A1, E1, or U1 must be selected according to the ink type, printer application, and the technical requirements of the complete system.

A performance-oriented project may convert an older or lower-capacity configuration to a supported I1600 or I3200 platform. A cost-oriented project may convert an older printer to an XP600-based platform when the main objective is to reduce conversion cost, simplify future maintenance, restore production, or meet moderate production requirements.

Depending on the printer architecture, a complete upgrade package may include the main control board, printhead driver board or head board, carriage board, motion-control or interface boards, control software, firmware, communication cables, printhead cables, power and signal interface components, adapters, and other necessary electronic parts.

Where technically feasible, the printer frame, guide rails, motors, media-feeding structure, carriage mechanism, and other major mechanical components may remain in service. However, some projects may also require modification or replacement of the printhead mounting assembly, carriage plate, ink supply system, dampers, capping and cleaning system, sensors, power supply, heating system, UV control components, or other related parts.

Compatibility cannot be determined from the original and target printhead models alone. The final solution must be assessed according to the printer brand and model, existing and target printheads, number of printheads, colour configuration, ink type, printing width, control system brand and version, board part numbers, software and firmware, connectors, wiring, power requirements, mechanical dimensions, and the actual condition of the printer.

Before ordering, please provide clear photos of the complete printer, nameplate, control boards, board labels, carriage area, printhead mounting position, connectors, wiring, ink system, and any available technical documentation. Each printer must be evaluated individually, and the final kit configuration will be confirmed after technical compatibility assessment.
